Privacy Policy
CoBuildPros Technologies LLC operates the CoBuildPros website and mobile beta. Effective October 11, 2026.
Information we process
We process account and company details, roles, project locations, uploaded plans, selected photos, field notes, material lists, supplier requests, quotes, orders, messages, and information you submit. We use this information to provide workspace access, construction planning, product identification, sourcing, quote comparison, orders, payments, support, and service communications. Service providers also process technical information such as IP addresses, request times, and error logs to operate and secure the service.
Camera, photos, and device storage
Camera access is requested when you choose to take a photo. Photo access is used when you choose an existing image. Access is optional: declining it does not prevent use of unrelated features. Change permissions in device Settings. Capturing or choosing a photo does not itself send it to AI. Only share content you are authorized to use; avoid unrelated faces, private documents, passwords, or personal information.
Capture drafts, notes, and identification results are stored locally on your device. Native sign-in credentials use secure device storage. The website uses cookies or local storage for authentication and application state. Discarding a capture removes its draft record, not the original library photo or information already sent to a supplier.
AI and service providers
Mobile product identification sends your selected photo, field notes, project name, and trade category through CoBuildPros to OpenAI to generate product suggestions. Updated mobile builds ask permission before each identification request; older beta builds may have an earlier interface. Plan takeoff features send relevant plan content and instructions to configured AI providers, which can include OpenAI and Anthropic. Review results before using them for purchasing or construction decisions.
Providers include Supabase for authentication, database and storage, Vercel for hosting, email services for communications, and Stripe for payment processing. Payment information entered into Stripe's interface is handled by Stripe. Apple and Expo support app distribution; TestFlight may collect crash reports, usage information, and tester feedback under Apple's terms. Provider processing and retention are also governed by applicable provider agreements and policies.
Sharing
Workspace members receive information according to their access. Sending a supplier request shares selected project, material, and contact details with that supplier. Anyone with a supplier response link may be able to access its request: treat the link as confidential. Orders and marketplace publishing share information needed for those workflows. We may disclose information when required by law or to protect users and the service.
Retention and privacy requests
Information is retained as needed to provide the service, maintain project and transaction records, resolve disputes, and meet applicable obligations. Deleting a project or draft may not immediately remove transaction or audit records, provider backups, or information already shared with others. Revoking permissions prevents future access; it does not recall submitted information.
For access, correction, account deletion, or privacy questions, contact brandon@cobuildpros.com. Include the relevant account or project but never your password. We may verify your identity and authority, and will explain any records that must be retained and available options.
Security and updates
We use access controls and provider security features, but no system is completely secure. CoBuildPros is intended for construction professionals and business use, not children. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information. We will update this policy and its effective date as our practices change.
